Job Description

As a foreman at Stabilised Pavements of Australia you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing civil construction projects from start to finish. You will be responsible for coordinating tasks, supervising crew members, ensuring safety compliance and maintaining project schedules and budgets. 

Key Responsibilities include: 

  • Leadership & Supervision - Lead and supervise crews, subcontracts and operators to ensure project specifications and quality standards are met 
  • Project Management - Oversee daily operations, including site preparation, material handling, and construction activities. Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines
  • Safety & Compliance - Ensure all safety practices are being correctly followed to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Communication - Liasie between project stakeholders, including engineers, supervisors, clients, operators and sub-contractors 
  • Quality Control - Ensure all work is performed according to plans, specifications and quality standards. Conduct inspections and resolve any discrepancies or defects. 

Skills & Experience 

  • 5 years experience in the road construction industry working with stabilisation and some supervisary experience in the industry would be preferred 
  • Certificate III or IV in Civil Construction would be preferred 
  • Strong leadership and communication skills 
  • Ability to work in varying conditions with the ability to travel away as required
