Stabilised Pavements Group is focused on delivering pavement construction, rehabilitation and maintenance solutions that are cost effective, sound in design to deliver longevity and environmental sustainability. These solutions are based on extensive engineering expertise, technology and systems that ensure the highest standards of quality, occupational health, safety and environmental management.

Our Head Office is based on the Central Coast, New South Wales with additional depots located in Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Townsville, Perth and Hobart. We have been operating for almost 40 years and employ over 250 people.

Job Description

About the role

Reporting to the WA Regional Manager, the Operations Manager will lead our Perth field and workshop teams, driving cultural transformation, performance improvement, and operational excellence. This is an exciting leadership role with significant autonomy and influence over day-to-day operations and long-term strategic direction.

Duties

  • Lead team structure, development, and performance to foster a high-performance culture.
  • Drive operational excellence and efficiency, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Oversee project and commercial delivery with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and sustainability.
  • Engage in business development and foster relationships with key clients to ensure continued growth.
  • Take a leadership seat in the regional team, contributing to company strategy and maintaining our market-leading position.
  • Champion a culture shift that aligns with our core values and strategic objectives.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven leadership experience, ideally within civil infrastructure or logistics industries.
  • Strong team building and people management skills.
  • Demonstrated success in driving cultural and performance change.
  • Solid track record in project delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Familiarity with the Western Australian market is a plus.
