About the Role
Reporting to the Regional Manager this role provides pivotal support to the New South Wales Stabilisation business including: preparation of quotes and tenders, investigation and technical advice in support of works procurement. Project Management in the planning and delivery of select projects including: Quality, Safety, P&L Management and financial reporting. Skills & Experience:
Bachelor of Engineering (civil) or equivalent
Previous experience within the road construction industry as Project Engineer/Project Manager
Works procurement/tendering experience and laboratory testing
Knowledge of road construction and methodologies
Client facing construction experience (preferable)
Duties:
Customer service including, providing technical or operational advice and management
Preparation of tenders and quotes including, site visits, pre-tender meetings, supplier RFQs and estimating
Assume role of Project Manager to deliver quality projects on time and on budget
Creation of safe project plan consistent with SPA Project Management Framework, including liaising with local operations for labour and plant requirements
Monthly and weekly reporting as well as QA audits
Managing the project team and assist the Regional Manager with strategic input
