Job Description

About the role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will undertake works as instructed by the SPA Supervisor/Foreman in a safe and efficient manner. You will be required to operate and maintain the plant and carry out all daily/weekly/monthly checks as defined by SPA or manufacturers handbook.

Duties

  • Operating mixer and/or spreader
  • Manual handling duties where required
  • Undertaking basic truck inspections and maintenance
  • Maintain records (such as logbooks)
  • Demonstrate and implement safe work practices

Desired Skills and Experience

Skills & Experience

  • Unrestricted HR licence
  • 3 years Civil Construction experience
  • Mixer and/or Spreader/Stabiliser operation experience preferred
  • Must be flexible and well presented
  • Have impeccable customer service skills
  • Must be punctual and reliable
  • Ability to undertake pre-employment medical
